The sun may rise and fall
The stars may all burn out
The only eternity i know
is the love within your eyes

    Yep. Love's the constant beyond time, beyond the elements, before the big bang and after the folding and refolding of all universes. How we negotiate it is determined by our clumsy physicality and the meaty synapses of our silly brains. But your poem nails a real truth: you can see eternal everythingness in a lover's eyes and it's not a delusion from the world of shadows and masks. It's bigger than us, it's the Light, it's there before us with a smile and almost too simple for us to comprehend.

    thats funny actually... i wrote if for an ex-gf. Although at the time i honestly, truthfully, and utterly with out a doubt in my mind believed it and meant it. I don't regret writing it for her just find it funny how things are now. And yes i would agree that everyone is loved, even though we don't see it or put much value in the fact.
