Their treatment of British fans is pretty bad to be honest!

One date at Wembley and maybe somewhere else in the country if your lucky.

More dates in the British Isles please Guys, whether it be this year or next!

What's the problem, just cause the British music press gives them no respect, us fans still love them but the lack of dates when you consider the dates they do back home.

2 Festival dates does not make up for it as well!

I think English/British fans have been treated pretty badly over the past 5 or 6 years... There has been plenty of European dates (2 extensive tours) but only what 2 shows in England at Wembley in 2007 and that smaller venue in early 2006.. I would say if they didn't tour Europe you would hope for some English dates.. Those PJ fans are suffering!

I'm hoping the guys will make it up to Scotland next time they're in Europe (or a nice gig in a place like the north east of England - wait I know just the place! Newcastle!!).

Seriously though - I think the UK in general would be extremely grateful for more headlining shows during the next Euro tour. Guys/10c/booking manager - if you need any venue advice just let me know ;);)

They should do a nice north-european tour.. :) (would be a lot cheaper for me to travel  )
.. Scotland is okay too. They should name the tour - "the unusual destinations"-tour '09 :D

I will happily sign up for that tour!! I did want to go see them in the States on their next tour, but with the UK economy going through the floor and the $ exchange rates - doesn't look like it's going to happen (damn mortgage  !).

he means 5-6 festivals with some arena shows in the middle, like 07.
Festivals are at weekend so it leaves the middle of the week free but they still have to pay the people and equipment and such, so they will always fill it with some shows, if only for financial reasons.

Although i have a tiny hope of Europe in September, I'm planning on West Coast at that time.

    Europe next year.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. I heard that they signed 2 year deals with the festivals that they played in 2006. So I would expect to see them back at many of those festival, or other festivals by the same promoters. That system actually worked very well in 2006 - 1-2 festivals on the weekend with 2 mid-week arena shows during the week.
