What do ya'll think the chances are of there being a few extras on the DVD, whether they are easter eggs or just bonus tracks? There will be a lot of extra room on the disc, and it would be cool if they included another song or two from 1990-1992. I guess we will find out soon enough.

  • I have a feeling its just going to be the concert as it was... only with Rocking in the Free World or whatever the songs where that were not aired but played added to the dvd, like they did adding the two un-aired preformances to the Nirvana unplugged dvd.

all the ten era videos, I assume you mean the videos of Even Flow, Jeremy, Alive, and Oceans all appeared on the touring band dvd, although they should add the original video for Jeremy

i thought that touring band just had "Oceans" & "Do the Evolution". it's been a little while since i've watched this, so correct me if i'm wrong.

that would leave "Alive", "Even Flow" & both videos for "Jeremy", which would make for some sweet special features. 8-)

  • Hopefully the ORIGINAL EVEN FLOW video...yes I did say and intend Even Flow, not Jeremy...although both versions of Jeremy on there would be cool too.

As for the original even flow vid....stone was a tad embarrassed by it in the past...maybe he can own up to post 80's cheesy fever.

yes, only DTE and Oceans are on Touring band.

as for bonus vids, i think that the vid playing on the best buy website, from like rockline or something, was said to be a bonus. i could see the vids from the era (alive, evenflow, jeremy) being on it as well. heck, they've got enough room...how about a nice clean version of pink pop??

those videos are just clips of them playing live, so not sure what a "making of" would entail...a "making of" jeremy, or the original jeremy vid would be good

An 'Single Video Theory' ala type via Ten style would be wicked to check out! :D
Footage of the band in the studio making Ten. Know there must of been video footage behind this masterpiece!

That's the one with all of the helicopter shots of them playing the song on some cliffs? I thought it was pretty cool. Maybe they'll do an IMAX release of that one - lol.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong...but I believe that "Oceans" will be on the DVD but I'm not sure if "Rockin in the Free World" will be on it. Both were left out of the original airing of the show on MTV.

I remember watching the original airing back in 1992 when I was a freshman in high school. I loved when Eddie took out the marker and wrote Pro Choice on his arm! ;)

I have read on the board that RITFW will be ommitted from the dvd? Is this true? I do remember watching the unplugged on MTV where they did air rockin in the free world.

I don't think we got an answer one way or another about ritfw being on the dvd. It's not in the tv version, but the widely circulated uncut bootleg has it.

When they put out the info for the box set, they said including oceans. They never said ritfw was on there, and never said it wasn't. So I think its speculation.

hopefully its on there. The Nirvana unplugged dvd has the tv version and an uncut version, I would hope the pearl jam dvd has both as well.
