Long time....
Im no expert, but if the band is recording in LA as I write this as confirmed in the Rolling Stone article and others, doesn't it seem like a really long time before the album will be out. I mean its' February, do they really need another 6-7 months to actually release the finished product. It just seems like late summer-Early fall for a release date seems a bit far out. Discuss..... :?:
I hold the pain, release me!

...but maybe they're giving themselves 6 months to record, and they may only need 2 months. It's better to give a long deadline, and come in before it, than the other way around!

Thats what I am talking about. O'Brien is notorious for taking a long time in production, but 6 months seems long even for him. I too am still holding out hope for a proper summer tour....which kicks off here in missoula of course
maybe it's taking so long b/c they are working with o'brien to record 2 albums. one for this year, and one for next year.
like i said, wishful thinking!
