10 Club is not a guarantor
Dear all PJ fans that are irritating me with their complaints and wanton consumerism:
10 Club is a club for Pearl Jam fans. It gives fans deals on merchandise, newsletters, vinyl, and the opportunity to buy premium seats for concerts. It is not a ticket guarantor. When you joined the club you did not enter a contractual agreement that allotted you a pair of tickets for every show you wish to go to. There isn't a clause that states they must run super computers that can grant thousands of people access to the site at one time. So this means that the server may crash or run slowly at times, and some people will not get tickets when there is a sale. Pearl Jam is a popular band.
I think 10 Club should bring back restrictions to the amount of tickets people are allowed to buy. Then if Fan-A wasn't able to get tickets to all 10 shows he wanted, he wouldn't complain, because that is just how it works. And Fan-B would have a better chance of getting a pair for her choice show. Also, there should be something in place so that residents of the area have some kind of seniority.
