And no one sings me lullabyes
And no one makes me close my eyes
So I throw the windows wide
And call to you across the sky....

Very cool, I've never heard of it. What's it sound like and is it a benefit or ? :)

ooooooooooo vintage ... i like it!

Thats pretty cool. Please do explain how it sounds DS :D For curious minds....
  • I think it's cool that my long-lost uncle, "Bob Tupper" has his name on the record right next to Mister Vedder's.

It's kind of a family legend, but ol' Bob married this Native Italian, who it was said made this crazy hallucinagenic pizza. "Magic mushrooms" were the topping of choice... and it was said that you had some pretty crazy trips when you ate ol' Bob's pizza!

"Bob Pizza" might be a good name for a band...

Ed sings on "We Shall Overcome 90" ... I have a turntable, but I don't have a phono preamp for my latest and greatest A/V Receiver...my last one that died had a phono input and playing records worked quite nicely...but now i have to crank it to the max to even hear it...and it sounds horrible...need to get that phono preamp or a new turntable that has a built-in preamp...I would have loved to rip it and post it for everyone to enjoy...if i can work that out i will.

costco had a computer friendly turntable, but it only had two speeds...and i was apprehensive about getting it. anywho...the album is from 1990...so i'd guess its from that timeframe...so probably 25-26.

Sweet find man. Do you still have contact with this guy on myspace? If he has anymore copies left, would love to pick one up (plus where he got the copy from). I tried Taz Records & a few local stores, they never even heard about a release of it.
  • you and me are prob the only ones with this thing!! my thread got deleted, but i think i put you in touch with steve, ds? glad you got it!

any others who want it, here's the guy involved, he said he had a whole box in his basement. pretty sure they are independent, thats why no record store will have it.

  • I got one of these a long time ago. Pretty cool find! I'm surprised the myspace dude hasn't been overrun with PJ fans, considering the board's obsession with vinyl...

What would be a fair price? More than an LP would normally cost?
