Will 10C release album online before in stores?

There was something mentioned in one of the recent interviews that this album will be the first one offered digitally through the 10c. If part of the delay in the release is the album is the artwork and packaging, is it possible 10c would release digitally when the music is done, or any point prior to the actual release?

  • I'm betting that yes, the album will be released online first, something like Radiohead and NIN have done.

Even if it's released online, I'm going to wait for the actual disk. I'm more of a CD person, even Vinyl, over digital music, and you lose the artwork which is what I love about the albums (well, besides the music, but yeah...)

If I had to put money on it, I would say that we'll see this album digitally before the physical CD hits the shelves. The only question is, how long before? Could be a week, could be a month.

I do not see PJ releasing anything online until every aspect of the album is complete. I would put money down that there is no way at all they will just release the music online before they are ready to set the street date for the physical cd/lp.

I wouldn't expect them to just give there stuff out as download without maybe packaging it as an added bonus when you pre-order the physical CD or something.

Since best buy is selling this set for $20 less than 10C will most of the pre orders be signed by the members of PJ? Why order pre-sale for $20 more if best buy will have it cheaper and soner than on here? Just a thought, I would hope all 10C pre orders were signed!

I agree with you...this is what NIN has been doing...you basically preorder the album in whatever format you want, and get the download when you buy...

They should've done that with the boots from this tour, I don't know why buying the CD didn't come with a link to download...

I'm old school. I prefer the physical CD over a download.

I am sure you will be well taken care of. My guess is that those who prefer the download and those who prefer the physical copies (CD or vinyl) will both get what they want...

    "Random sets signed by PJ."

I look at it like a lottery. 20 bucks for a chance to have my set signed by the band.
