and its going to take me interviewing with 6 different people at 3 different locations. ....

  • That sounds scary... I've got an interview in 2 hours  job's not as exciting as yours, lol, but I would advise you ask somebody to give you a couple of mock interviews so you can prepare. Speaking of which, I should be off researching the company now

    My advice:

    1. Wear comfortable shoes.

    2. Demonstrate how your interests match the strengths of the residency.

    3. Be really polite to the staff (not just the interviewers).

I'm sure you'll do great. Plus, free food! :D

Good luck! Picture yourself doing well and I'm sure you will!

Then in October during the Austin City Limits music festival some of us can meet up and exchange greetings! ;)

  • Thank you everyone for the well wishes. .. .

I am moving to Austin no matter what. building a house and starting a life and everything. This residency will actually put back starting a family a year back, but would be totally worth it.

As for ACL fest. , well we're building a house in Cedar park (north north austin) so if someone needs a place to crash mi casa will be su casa!!!!!
