when you grew/grow up? This thread was inspired by watching a certain lead singer having fun at a fantasy camp. It got me thinking that even rock stars may have wanted to be something else when they grew up :? :P

So the question is . . . What did/do you want to be when you grow up?



I wanted to be a famous musician. I remember walking home from elementary school, at about seven years of age, interviewing myself about my influences and my work. Kinda like Jimmy Rabbitte in The Commitments. However, I don't play an instrument and when I sing the dog howls and the cat bites me :oops: :o :shock: :cry:

    An astronaut.... which didn't happen, but I do work at NASA, which is about as close as I can get.

    an animal trainer!! i wanted to work with shamu at sea world :D it was because of this that i decided to go to college in orlando. then i failed chemistry, so got my degree in marketing instead :)

    I have four cousins from the same family. One is a fire-fighter; one is a police officer; and one is an EMT/ambulance driver. The youngest is a garbage collector - he makes more $$$$ than the others :shock: Sad, but true. However, as important as emergency workers are, where would we be without garbage collectors?

    when I was little.... I wanted to be an elevator operator, yes seriously. :?

    my main aspiration was to be an artist. i also wanted to be an ambassador, for the free travel, and an antique appraiser and museum curator, so i could touch all the cool stuff :D
