Get ready to pay higher ticket prices, though...

    http://blog.wired.com/business/2009/02/ ... cketm.html

If Live Nation and Ticketmaster merge, the combined entity could bypass the primary ticketing system partially or completely, forcing fans to bid against each other for tickets in Ticketmaster's TicketsNow secondary market rather than selling them at a fixed price in the primary ticket market, the way they have done in the past.
I smile, but who am I kidding...
  • I think 06 was a pretty good year for music. new pj, new hip, new chilis, new tool. all toured, but 09 is looking mighty fine too, pearl jam and the hip are gonna tour and release albums....and u2 so yeah, it will be one for the books.....cant wait to see u2 again, tickets will be tough to get as usuall though.

  • I'm looking forward to Ben's new one as well as seeing him at Bonnaroo, be my first time. I would love to be able to see U2 later in the year, hope they are in the States in the fall
All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all

2006 was an amazing year for music. I enjoyed all of those albums, even though RHCP's was a little commercial. Let's hope 2009 will top it.
