Is it really news that they are up for a Grammy?! Damn it's all over the morning news..... YAWN!
You'd think maybe they'd cover the Australian bush fires?!

  • I am too and I have a feeling they are going to win everything tonight. Eventhough the Grammy's don't mean shit

I don't think the Grammy awards have ever done much except to grant over-the-hill artists the opportunity to present awards, by-and-large and with only occasional exception, to the tame, the safe, and the twee, in some bizarre, tin pan alley-era time capsule.

Agreed! They get way too much hype for such a boring band.

I can't believe they won two grammys for that stupid song. I really think it's their worst cd.

One of the most underwhelming bands in the history of Rock.

I guess that's what happens when throw a fat free version of Radiohead and U2 into a blender.

agreed, this band is just terrible. i went to see them for free at the target center in minneapolis (a shitty venue, to say the least) 2 or 3 years ago and they were awful. we were in a very nice suite with some members of my wife's company and the frigging night could not get done soon enough. and, typically, the crowd was DEAD until "yellow" came on and then the place lit up like jesus had just appeared. i wanted to barf.

I had had enough of these guys 5 years ago. And it keeps getting worse. I can't believe that piece of crap won song of the year at the Grammy's. Such a terrible song.

Just ignore them, which is what I do. While I don't think they're bad, they're just totally not my type of music. Its just too mellow for me.

I knew there was a reason I liked you! :P

Hey, by the way... I might be coming up to your neck of the woods (Toronto) in March, any suggestions on must sees? :)

I'm not a fan, and I do as some others do. Just try to ignore them. They do not deserve a Grammy. Then again, I'm starting to really dislike the Grammies, aka I just don't watch it anymore.
