Springsteen never has an opening band.

LOL. That's great. :D But yeah, to the OP, Springsteen comes on and rocks the place for about 2.5- 3 hours.

My Springsteen experience this time around is going to be really interesting. The only tickets we could get are behind the stage. Can someone who has had behind the stage seats let me know how it is?
I'm pretty bummed, but at least we got tickets

I've only been to one Springsteen show in October of 2007 and I was behind the stage, diagonally behind Danny (RIP) and Clarence. I had a blast. I was in the second tier about ten feet or so above the raised platform set up behind the stage. Bruce came over to us and we sang a chorus of "Livin in the Future" with him staring right at us! I told my wife that he was impressed with me because I knew the words to one of his new songs. LOL! One problem I did have was that the sound for the first couple of songs (definitely for "Radio Nowhere", the first song) wasn't that great. But it got better as the show went along.

I think it all depends on how many times you have seen him and what other experiences you have had. If you've seen him a lot and been down in front of the stage, sure it's not going to be as good. But, as I said, it was my first show so I think anywhere in the building would have been a blast for me.

You probably know about this, but he usually has ticket drops on Ticketmaster closer to the show date. I was thinking of going to another show and checked on Ticketmaster a few weeks before the show and found a few really good seats reallly close and just to the side of the stage. I stupidly didn't get them and still regret it because he opened with "Spirit in the Night" at that show.

    Hope this helps!
