He is nominated for Best Solo Rock Vocal Perfomance going against Bruce Springsteen, Paul mcCartney, Neil Young and John Mayer, no way that cat is not televised..

as far as Ed showing up, I have my doubts, I'm watching tomorrow night anyways... MMJ and Radiohead are up for awards too.

I think he's gonna show up like he used to, old school, wearing a costume so no one will know who he is. He used to wear a halloween mask. This time, he's gonna dress up like Scott Stapp. Wife beater shirt, and smug sense of self accomplishment, just like Scott has. ...much scarier than any halloween mask that can be found.

I guess I was wrong, his category will not be televised :(
It's part of the program from the pre-telecast, the same for Alternative Album of the Year where MMJ and Radiohead are nominated...

I'm looking forward to the performance by Radiohead, they will be performing 15 Step with the USC marching band, that should be nice, and the U2 performance should be cool too, other than those 2 performances I probably wouldn't be watching it.

I'm not surprised that Ed didn't win the award, not because he didn't totally deserve it but something told me that he wouldn't win it.

That category was full of talent....

Then maybe someone with talent should have won...

Thank god he wasn't there! So far an hour 30 minutes in, it's been brutal.
I don't watch much TV, and .. this is the reason. Crap after crap .. after crap.

Anyone notice how only one or two artists tend to "win it all" at the grammys? Hmm...seems so...political.
I hate having to wait so long just to see Radiohead, TV bores the hell out of me!!

I've talked to people about this...
If, say... you got an invitation... and your wife really wanted to go. She gets to dress all up in a fancy dress and walk down the Red Carpet and meet people like Paul McCartney and Bono and Stevie Wonder... plus all the food is catered and the drinks are free and the car service and all that crap...
    Wouldn't you take her?
    ...
As much as I despise the Grammys... and no one despises the Grammys more than I do... I'd go, if it would make her happy.

Of course I would take her! I would bend over back words .. for the wife! Which I don't have, yet! But , who wouldn't do something like that?

But, as I would do anything for her, in return, she would have to agree with me bringing my headphones & probably my game boy or portable dvd player (watching something GOOD) while i'm seating & experiencing this display of madness!

Oh... I'd be at the bar drinking that Black Label Johnny Walker straight from the bottle the entire night... knowing I got a free car service I can puke in the back on the way home.

I would too! Say, the next Grammy's, say me & you ditch them at the show while we hit like a stripe club & drink down some Irish Car Bombs. What do you say? Imagine that? While we are at the bar, we see both our wives on TV, and they win? That would rock!

Whoa! It's like 1am. See, this is what happens when you experience 3 plus hours of Grammy's, friends! You begin to loose your $#^$&# mind!!!

Watching the Grammys causes permenant brain damage. I think it is one of the torture techniques they use at Guantanamo Bay.
