Viva La Vida

I love how out there this album is for a Coldplay album.
I like the whole almost Eastern sounding Lost in Technicolor instrumental. And I really like Death and all his Friends with the whole melody that starts out, its pretty infectious. and then the end of that song with the almost radioheadesque atmosphereics and the whole "and in the end" part.
They really did in essense reinvent themselves. I never understood the crap this band gets. They never stated they were the best lyricists or greatest musicians ever, however I do think they have a desire to be the biggest band in the world. And in many ways, that is no different than 99 percent of all bands in existance today.
They make great music.

Agree to disagree. I'm kind of on the other side of the fence. I don't understand how people think they are that great. Guess just different tastes. To each his own I say
Regardless of how much I disagree with you about how good they are, I really think that this "reinvention" is due to Bryan Eno
