I've NEVER flipped out at work in a professional setting like that, EVER. Competitive situations, home life, there probably have been some epic flip outs, but not professionally, ever! That was out of line and uncalled for. Quite simply: he's a dick

I just heard the audio and my thought is that Christian Bale sounded like a real prick, BUT there's always another side to the story.

He has also used a different accent for each movie he has starred in. Apparently, its to help the audience differentiate between the characters he plays. When he does an interview for a movie he speaks in the accent of the character he played. Now thats dedication to your craft.

He did. He apologized and made right with the guy later on that day, which I guess was back in July. They worked together for the next couple of months after that.

give it a rest. he's a good actor. he's just a tad too intense. i think a lot of good actors might be like this. and this happened last summer. its not like it happened yesterday or something. for all we know this kind of thing happens a lot more frequent than any of us would guess. it just so happens that somebody got their hands on the audio and sold it to tmz or whomever and... WHAMMY! its on the internet. big fuckin' deal.

can you imagine if we had the internet for the last 100 years? oh the scandals we have missed out on...
