a few of those bands make it tempting, but I def think I'll pass this year, way too far for me, hopefully lolla has a good lineup.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

damn. that's a great lineup. too bad it's in TN!
we're holding out for ACL b/c we've had such a blast there the last 3 years.
i just wish they'd announce the lineup before May/June, but then again, the show isn't until October.

what about Death Cab for Cutie...not a big fan but they're always on tri-state rock radio and not sure if they're lined up for any summer festivals?

I'm going again. Was hoping to see Gogol Bordello again, their Tom Waits set with Les Claypool and Kirk Hammett was my second fave moment after PJ, but the lineup is still awesome.

I don't really have any interest in going this year. I am already seeing Bruce and Phish in Boston. Its a good lineup as always, but I just don't think its as strong as previous years. I am sure it will be a great time though.
    PJ:
    2003 Mansfield: July 2
    2004 Boston: Sept 28 & 29
    2005 Montreal: Sept 15
    2006 Boston: May 24 & 25
    2008 Hartford: June 27, Mansfield: June 28,
    2010 Boston: May 17
    2013 Worcester: Oct 15, Hartford: Oct 25,
2016 Hampton: April 18, Raleigh: April 20 (cancelled), Columbia: April 21. Quebec: May 5. Boston (Fenway): August 7

EV Solo: Boston 8/2/08, Boston 6/16/11

I'm sort of over Phish, and Bruce just doesn't do it for me (did anybody else think his "mini-set" and the super bowl was pretty lousy???). I'd love to see Of Montreal, Wilco and some of the others, but I agree the line up has taken a hit this year...

    Hey Bro,

Yeah, I think I'm with you on this one. I'd LOVE to go again, but I think I'm going to save up for some PJ shows instead. I have a good friend that was unable to score any Phish tickets, so if he wants to go and can't find anyone else to go with, I may be going. My wife already told me that she was out. She had a great time, but she missed about a week of school last year with our mini-PJ tour and Roo.

So they WILL be there, ALONG with Neil? I'm confused. I saw them for the first time live at last year's Roo and completely fell in love with their music. Good times.

No no no...don't get too excited. Neil is supposed to be on the Booker T album along with them, but I feel certain he wouldn't be part of the tour. I was at the show last year at 'Roo...my first time...WHAT A WAY TO START A FRIDAY!!!! DBT and a cold beer in hand!

I'd love to go this year. Last year was shitloads of awesomeness. But I live too damn far away, and I can't blow all my $$ on one thing again. I'm sure I'll catch some of these artists locally anyway, perhaps at smaller Northeastern fests.
