  • I'm not much of a dog person, but I don't mind them. Regardless, this story had me tearing up. It is an atrocity that people are allowed to do things such as this and get away with it. It is even worse that they are being taught that it is normal procedure to handle situations like this; to shoot animals that are obviously trying to escape and not "engage" you. I am disgusted.

    And the fact that the police obviously fucked up and ruined these peoples' lives, and then refused to apologize for it is deplorable. I know that the majority of law enforcement people are great, but things like this give them all a bad name.
