Yeah it's a weird cover, but it fits with the theme of the album (especially the epic side-1 track)

Van Halen's "Balance" cover. WTF were they thinking??

Really, most of their album covers are stupid. VH II? They didn't even try. Diver Down is bad. VH isn't that great either. OU812 is a Beatles ripoff. FUCK is OK but I can't figure out what that background is - a football? It looks like a football really up close. VHIII - Can't come up with anything original so they just find something on Google images and copy/paste.

But they do have a classic in 1984.

No way - this is awesome! That little black thing is in all these random 50s pictures. I'm a fan of the Avocado album cover too. That's probably just because it's blue.

I like all of Pearl Jam's album covers... I don't like that Ten is pink, but I still think it's ok. I do like Riot Act's cover, but it always looks like a woman's breast and nipple to the right of the statue on the right. Anybody see this?

I really can't see it all that well on the CD cover - maybe it's the gloss; and I don't have the LP. It's pretty undeniable in that picture though. Doesn't seem to fit the theme of the album.

At first glance, you may just think it's an ugly, cluttered mess. And you'd be right. But the more you look at it, the more you notice so many things that are just... wrong.
And I planted my bolo knife in the neck of mad John Finn. I took his wretched life.
Now I'm over near the bandstand, every hand moving on John Finn's wife...
