I'm getting closer to my new car. It will be here in September of 2009. Production starts March 16th. :P

    I have a '99 Honda Prelude(original owner) with less than 100k.The car has been paid for years and years ago.Its in great shape...small repairs. Its a Honda V-Tec for God's sake...it can run forever.

    I can afford a new car but why??....so I can sacrifice the fun things I can do without a car note

    My dad made money on his last two sports cars. 4 grand one the first, and 5 grand on the second.

    I wonder if this car will help GM get back on its toes. Probably not, but it's probably the first good car GM has made in years.

    Congrats!!Nice choice! Was just at the Philly car show on Sat. morning and they had one of the special edition Camaro's, the LS7. Awesome cars.....you're gonna love it.

    For the person who said they ripped off the Mustang, that would be incorrect, if you know Camaro's, you know that it was designed using queues from the first generation Camaro. Can't wait to see them in the showrooms. I am tempted to trade in my car for one.

    it wont sell, the 6 cyl is going to be a dog. And the gas for the 8 cyl aint worth it. They need to stop making gas huffers bottom line

    One of my sons and my husband want this car too. What color are you getting? I think my boys want a black one, but I think dark red would look good too.

    the thought of spending $32K on a car...... :o :shock: :o ...i cannot personally imagine, whether 'affordable' or not. however, for me, i would never again by another american car...and IF i were willing to shell out that kinda $$$ on a car, most definitely not american. yikes!


    however, if YOU are happy and it's what you want....enjoy! :D

    For real? The V6 is rated at 305 hp. 0-60 is dead even with the Mustang GT. The LS3 and L99 in the V8 is an engineering marvel. They are expecting to get 25+ MPG in the automatic with the L99 because of cylinder deactivation. That's just as good if not better than the majority of V6's on the road, and way better than most SUV's and full sized trucks. The really amazing thing about the gas mileage is that they will be getting that gas mileage out of a motor making 422hp / 408 tq and 400hp / 395 tq. respectively.

    As far as people whining about spending that much money on a car, it's all relative. If you're not a car person then chances are you won't understand. If somebody can afford it, and it's what they like, then more power to them. Everybody has a hobby of some kind. I'm a "car guy" and I totally understand the appeal of buying the new Camaro. Bang for the buck you really can't do any better. That $30+ will put you in the same category as a $60+ Corvette and even some more expensive, more exotic cars. $30+ for 422 hp sounds like a great deal to me, but then I'm one of those who get it.

    These are wicked! I had a '95 Camaro, which I flipped over trying to avoid a damn deer in the road. After I spent a few days in the hospital, my parents -- the great folks that they are -- got me a new one...'97 model...and when I headed back to college the following Sunday night I made it about 10 miles from the house and another damn deer ran out right in front me and almost made it by but I hit his back legs and flipped him over the top the car. Luckily he cleared the windshield but I had to get a new hood!

    If it weren't for bad luck I would have no luck at all
    All I have to do is revel in the everyday....then do it again tomorrow

    They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
