40 yrs ago tonight they opened up for IronButterfly at the filmore here in NY .. :shock: damm that sounds like ages ago

    Haha, that's because it was! I didn't actually see Zep in concert until the early/mid 70's, I forget the year. Saw Iron Butterfly in the mid 90's with Steppenwolf, Randy Bachman who played BTO and Guess Who songs, and various other bands in a cool amphitheatre in Darrington, WA. Fun times. :)

    Wrong.

    They played denver the day after Christmas a month earlier. I know Vanilla Fudge was the headliner, dunno who else was on the bill.
