    one thing that they didn't do on this past tour that I was a little down about was the best combo ever:

    Porch's fast intro made a return in 2008.

    the original tempo to even flow is the best. it's way more bluesy than the way it's being performed now. it would give mike way more space when he launches into his solo.

    I meant at the tempo it was originally performed, not the ridiculously sped up version we're hearing nowadays. ;)

    They did the fast intro to porch at Hartford. I think the slow one was just 2006 thing like the soundgarden style garden. I also kinda like evenflow the way it is. As long is it's not lolla fast.

    Back in Thunder Bay on the '05 tour they did the slow intro......but ever better? Listening to my boot of my first show, Minneapolis '98. They played My Generation/slow intro into Porch to close out the show.

    So the slow version has been around at least 10 years.

    1) fast intro was played a think on the month long '07 european tour.......not sure which boot though.
    Didn't hear Porch played on the 2008 tour, so I can't comment there.

    2) slow chugging even flow............try the Tampa '08 boot (probably anything from the beginning shows of last year). They seemed to pick the pace up as the tour went on, but nothing as fast as before though.

    I'm 100% with this... anymore I feel like they're trying to play it as fast as possible to get it over with. Actually, I've noticed that with a few of their songs, like corduroy. They face through it, they used to take their time, let the songs breathe.
