Ok, I'm in the mood to get bashed. I feel like the guy in China that stood in front of the tank. Lets see who bashes me, and maybe someone might actually agree with me! Ok, the seniority ten club number doesnt work except for the lucky low number people. As a result, the ten club rewards the low number people over and over and over. I have a 200+ number. Been a member for several years. With a number like that, when I buy presale tickets through ten club, the seats suck. No, they are not lawn seats but row 40+ sux. So, what I'm saying is through their system i can NEVER get great seats! I think thats established. So my only other option is to try and get lucky on ticketmaster at the exact moment they go on sale. You all know how well that works. So my only other option is a ticket broker/scalper. Yes, I will pay 2 to 3 times the value of the ticket if not more but at least I'll get a great seat. I'm already anticipating this for the next tour so I'm actually saving now. If I have to pay 300-400 bucks for a seat in the first 10 rows, I'm gonna do it. I want to actually experience the band up close at least once. Not because I want to, but because there is no other way. Ok, ready.......1.......2........3.......attack!

Meh....come back with an original complaint.0
-
not original, but still valid.0
-
original complaint...hmmm.....how about.....I cant stand it when mcdonalds brings back their McRib sandwich. Or I hate it when people walk into a movie theatre 15 minutes late, and plop right down in front of you and block your great view you had. or when people walk out of stores and dont hold the door open for you..or when you let someone into the raod on a busy street and they dont wave thank you.....or old people that still pay with checks and take forever writing them in the grocery line.....and have 7 billion coupons that save a total of 19 cents......ok....are those original enough? if not, let me know....0

Get it without onions, they are pretty good.....
Sit in the front row so no one CAN sit in front of you....
Only shop at stores with automatic doors...
if they have there hands on the wheel, maybe they cant wave...
you will be old one day too..or....shop from home..you can get just about anything on line these days..
I dont care what anyone says, I save TONS of $ each and every visit. Not uncommon on a $100 grocery bill to for us to save $30+...well worh the effort..
also, if you look into the coupon thing, you could save for those $300-400 tickets faster...Never, ever, flipping forget

My friend was going to see Eddie last night. Since he was in Vegas, I gave him 5 Grand to gamble with. I told him I wanted it all to go on Black. Bastard! PhillyCrownOfThorns-11-2-120 -

I'm not gonna attack you but at least where I am seats in the first 10 rows will probably cost you more than 300-400 bucks from a scalper (at least from a "reputable" online scalper). And I say that from experience. We spent $500/ticket for Boston I in '06 for tenth row center and about the same for 6th row center pit for Camden II and while I'm not proud we did it, I'm happy we did. We weren't 10C members at the time and it was our first and second show respectively after many, many years of saying "next time they come around" due to lack of funds and I literally cried when they opened with Release in Boston.
That being said we'll be relying on 10C or Ticketmaster for our tix in the future. '06 was a very expensive year for us, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Had we been to a few shows before then we most likely never would have spent that much but I justified it by adding up all the years of saying "next year we'll see them".
..and yes I do donate profusely throughout the year so please don't flame me for spending that much for something trivial that was once (ok, twice) in a lifetime for us!2006: Boston I, Camden II
2007: Chicago
2008: Hartford, Mansfield I & II, EV Boston
2009: Philly III & IV
2010: Boston
2011: PJ20
2012: Philly
2013: Worcester I & II, Brooklyn I & II0 -
Huh, i'm not looking forward to buying tickets with my 400xxx number.0

with a 400+ number dude, youre lookin at nosebleed section if youre lucky!
Ya, I kinda figured 500 for major cities, but I'm in the midwest so Im hopin I can score a top 10 row for 300-400 bucks, unless ten club gets smart and offers a lottery, heres how it works, you enter lottery, you get a number, 1 being best seast and so on, you have 30 days to accept, if not, your number is gone. If I actually HAD a chance at good seats, i would use ten club..their system actually prevents me from EVER getting a good seat. so scalpers win....0 -
I went through ticketek when PJ last came out and I got row 18 so not too bad. I have a really low 10C number so I'll probably be doing the same thing next time.0

Actually, there IS another way to get up close. It's called General Admission. Try it.
Also, there's a way to get pretty decent seats with a 200+ 10C number. You have to travel to the smaller places they play...my number is 300+ and for my first show i was in 12th row.<a href="http://www.last.fm/user/Krisdababe/?chartstyle=Krisdababe"><img src="http://imagegen.last.fm/Krisdababe/recenttracks/Krisdababe.gif" border="0" /></a>

I got a pair at the Gorge Row 7 for $500 or $550. Worth every penny. Off ebay in fact.Let's see those 2013 dates in the southern states.0

BeerBaron wrote:Would those not have been 10C tickets?
Venues have VIP tickets that 10c can't touch. I have been front row or few rows back a few times by buying these tickets from a scalper.
10c gets most of the best tickets at the venue - but they don't get all of them.....SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
Mexico=1, Colombia=10 -
BeerBaron wrote:This debate will never go away. Bottom line is that seniority shoudl count for something.
I usually get decent seats with my 10C number, but I know that I will never be in the first 10 rows. I can live with that though, because I have no problem with a person who has been in the 10C since 1995 having better seats than me for a show. They deserve it.
I agree that seniority should count for something. I think it would be nice if you could only use your 10c number to buy tickets to a limited number of shows per tour though. I realize that a lot of fans have the means to travel around the country and sit front row every night but it would be nice for those who do not have this option to try and experience the show a little closer. Just my $0.020 -

worked for me 3 times. And it shows you who the other real fans are, theyre the ones waiting from midnight the night before.
paying more is an option as well, ive never done that before, as my # is 193XXXWouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?0 -
