Let The Song Protest...

Seems as if ed kinda flip flops here.

In Insignificance he has the line, "let the song protest..." yet at Bonnaroo during Porch, he claims he knows for certain that a song cannot change the world.

Any thoughts on this? I just picked this up today when listening to binarual and am not sure what to think of it.

I think he is saying the same thing in both cases. However, at Bonaroo he can explain himself more. A song can plant the seed of protesting, and it can follow the path that one chooses for it to be intended, but a large group of people can do way more then 1 song ever could.

You see i always thought that in insignificance he was just saying let it play, it will say all that needs to be said. might just be my interpretation of it tho.
