Not sure what to make of this. I probably need to check in on their last few records to understand the evolution.

Ah, yes, Arctic Moneys. One of the bands I'm sure to lose at Heardle when it's one of their songs.

not sure how i feel about this one. Sounds like it could have been off the Tranquility album, which i wasn't a huge fan of. Hoping the rest of the album has some "rock" songs.

Just signed up for their Verified Fan presale. Not sure when I will hear. I have not seen them live before so thought I would check it out if I can get Verified fan tickets. The show is 11 months away though.

Also signed up for verified fan for the Atlanta show (Alpharetta). I am not a big fan of amphitheaters, but I am going to try to get the pit, I haven’t seen them either, but I listen to them all the time.

Good luck. I signed up for the Forest Hills Stadium show in NYC. I guess we hear on Wednesday about verified fan, and tickets go on sale Thursday.

I got a presale code from TM. However, the NYC shows seem to be among the few that are not being sold through TM. The tickets are being sold through AXS. I also signed up for a presale code from Bowery Presents - so I hope I get that one. That should be the one for AXS.

I’m pretty sure the TM code works on AXS as well

I think you are right. When I got the text from TM with the presale code the link they provided took me to AXS. The friend I am going with also got a presale code so hopefully one of us will get them. The show is 11 months away. The tickets are selling really far in advance.

My friend got us tickets this morning during the presale. Her little walking man got to the front of the queue before mine did.

I got tix too, so excited! Most excited because I was able to get 4, so taking my 13 yr old daughter and she gets to pick 2 friends. It'll be the 1st show her and I will probably be equally excited about, although she's been to a LOT with me and does like most of the ones I take her too. And I like the ones she picks.

Was so lucky, went to SXSW in either 2006 or 2007 (I went to both but not sure what year they played). This was the phase of SXSW when the "hot band" showcases were impossible to get into, because so many people bought the $600+ passes that got them to the front of any showcase line (this was 15 yrs ago so $600 was a LOT to spend, as it is now for me still but more common now), the line never moved for those of us with $60.00 wristbands.

Arctic Monkeys were the MOST "hot band" show that year, so most of us didn't even bother going to the theater to see if we could get in. But me & a friend were seeing something else nearby so we wandered over, and I really think even the plastic pass holders were like "No way, it'll be too nuts, no one will get in" because there wasn't much of a line and we got in and got to the front and this was their 1st US shows on 1st album!

Have seen them several times since then, last time was 2017 because they were playing Boston the night before Radiohead did 2 shows so made a weekend of it.  Looking forward to this because I also love Fontaines DC!

Got GA tix for Atlanta! Very excited.

I have never seen this amphitheater open up the front section to all GA like this before. It will be awesome.

Is it the amphitheater is kind of SW (or is it SE?) Atlanta? Has gone through so many corporate names, not sure what it's called now, but is that where it is?

This one is Ameris Bank Amp in Alpharetta.

You might be thinking Lakewood south of Atlanta.

The album gets great reviews but I’m really not liking it. Much like the last album from them.

They are the most hit and miss band for me. Love the first two albums and AM. I’d struggle to pick one or two decent songs from each of the rest.

I'll give it a listen, but admit I liked nothing about that last album. Bought it before listening to it. Boy it was terrible. I'll give this one a listen beforehand.

You really have to go into it realizing this is not the same band as AM. Totally different sound, different style, different approach. I didn’t give tranquility much effort, but this one is my cup of team. I will go back to tranquility now and revisit. I listened to this all morning with my coffee on a glorious fall morning in Chicago on my porch and it was fabulous.
