How great was it, really?

I am going to go ahead and say it: possibly as much energy as I witnessed 6/24 and 25.
They were so happy. Truly a historic moment for them.
Because of the Time remains one of the most fun album to listen to, especially live.

They may have been nervous, but they were certainly looser and more mature than at Radio City Music Hall.

I look forward to many more shows!
... and the will to show I will always be better than before.

they were awesome! i couldn't imagine what they were feeling headlining a show at the garden. as much as i love them, i still can't believe they played there!

the show was great! the only thing i felt was missing was some improv or covers or something.

and was it me or was EVERY girl at the show freaking hot as hell? i went with a friend and it looked like the aisle in front of us was a catwalk!

They had so much energy last night, it really was a great show, i thought they were absolutely unbelievable. I wish they played a little longer than the hour and forty five they played and also I agree it would have been nice to see a cover or a song that they haven't played on this tour, i know i was still holding out for Ragoo or Red Morning Light, but still an amazing show none the less. And yes every girl at that show was hot as hell

Really, really good show. I wasn't sure they could pull it off but they ROCKED the Garden.

You'd think they would've busted out something different for such a big show. I could've written the setlist for this show before it happened.

I thought the show was great, but I've seen them play better (The Electric Factory comes to mind). The girls were UNBELIEVABLY HOT at this show :D

It was a good gig, great energy from the band despite the fact they were obviously a little nervous. But half the crowd had never heard anything previous to BOTT. So no, not even close to 6/24 and 25 IMHO

    Taper Jean Girl
    My Party
    Molly's Chambers
    Closer
    Fans
    Revelry
    Milk
    Four Kicks
    Wasted Time
    Sex on Fire
    Slow Night, So Long
    The Bucket
    Notion
    McFearless
    On call
    Use somebody
    Cold Desert
    Trani
    (Encore break)

They only played a hour and forty minutes at the garden. I am sorry, but that is weak as hell.

They did a great job! No one can blame them for keeping to their strengths, debuting at MSG is a BIG deal. Caleb was the most talkative of any time I have seen them; they clearly appreciated the moment. As for the length of the show, they were obviously working within the curfew. Caleb tapped his watch as they began the walk offstage at 10:59. Us crazy folks sitting side stage got waves from each of the guys as they left.
[I loved our seats, because I got to watch Nathan drum, and we also got a view of the crowd similar to theirs.]

It was also fun seeing them at the Knicks game the night before.

I actually had the impression that Caleb was asking about doing another song, and he was told no. They are not "rich motherfuckers" yet :)

I am happy for the guys for their accomplishment, and I am sure the show was great (they are great musicians and their liveshows are entertaining), but I can't help but be disappointed with this band. First let me say that I think they are an amazing band and I enjoy each of their studio albums, have bootlegs spanning from 2004-2008, and have seen them live 6 times. That being said they need to introduce variety into their live shows. I think that playing the exact same setlist every night really takes away from the excitement of the live experience. I mean they don't change things up at all! I am not saying they need to jam everything out or become something they are not, just don't be so damn predictable. So many great songs are left collecting dust that should be in constant rotation. Also, I would have really expected them to throw some surprises out at MSG and maybe even play a longer set, but I guess that's to much to expect. I hear they exceeded 2 hrs at some shows in Europe, why not @ MSG?Perhaps the curfew was an issue, but if that was the case then why not come out at a half hour earlier and tear shit up even more. I have also been at multiple shows when Caleb gets pissed off over the slightest things, he even stormed off the stage once. He needs to get over it and do what he is there to do, perform. Maybe I am just spoiled by seeing PJam, Phish and Springsteen play.

I know this happens when bands start making it big, but their new fanbase is fucking terrible. I have looked around of their website, forum, etc and can't help but become even more turned off. They have absolutely nothing intelligent to say and this makes me thankful for the people, comments and overall state of mind in the 10club community.

Thank you for everyone that makes this place the way it is!

It pains me that I missed this show....But I am sure I will feel better as soon as May comes around and I see them 3 times in a week...
