Anyone listen to Booker on Krock NY (PJ related)

He's a big Pearl Jam fan. He said something today about the programming department only playing songs off of Ten, so he decided to play his favorite song instead - 'Given to Fly'.

He also talked about there being so many awesome PJ concerts he's been to. He told a story about going to the Borgata shows, getting backstage & going to play blackjack with Stone afterwards. He said Stone would only play on the $5 table, lol

Anyways, it always good when a DJ will play some PJ stuff that's not the normal.

    I listen to Booker just for a little while when the alarm goes off. I've never heard him specifically mention PJ (but he did play Evenflo yesterday). He seems like a good guy -- actually knowledgeable about the music he plays. Great to know he's a fan. Maybe he'll be a source of info in the future...

    awwwwwwwwwwww that sucks!!! i was listening to krock today then decided to put on some vinyl instead. guess i shoulda kept listening a few more minutes :( when did he start talking about them?

    He started talking about them around 215-ish. He played a double shot on Neil Young, then PJ citing the love EV has for Uncle Neil. Originally, both songs were off Ten (Evenflow/Alive), but he changed it to GTF/Evenflow. He kept talking about them in between breaks too.

    Live105 DJs here in San Fran are bunch of Pearl Jam haters. So we don't hear anything other than the usual radio songs.
    I have no patience for bad music and stupid people...

    yea he told that story about 3 years back. I remember he played 5 songs in a row from them.
