I am trying to file my daughters taxes. I need her aig from last year. But when I go to turbo tax and try to bring up last years return I get a message that says the adobe acrobat reader I have can not be used to read a pdf file in a web browser.
I can't figure out if there is anyway to save this file to the desktop to read or if there is someway to make it so that I can use adobe in a web page or what the heck I am doing wrong.
I am using firefox but I get the same message if I use netscape.
Any clues?

I don't ever try to attempt to do it on my own :?
Maybe I will just try to re-download it and install it again.

My brother who is an accountant was doing my taxes the other day, and for some reason Turbo Tax was adding money to my income. About $1400, but whenever we checked what was input it was right. It was just adding wrong for some reason.
So he used his other program, which is good, because my refund is more, but now I have to mail in the returns instead of e-filing them.
Stupid Turbo Tax!!
But last year I did have a couple of problems where I had to enter some of the info rather than import it. It will let you override the import.
Ok so I re-installed adobe, restarted the computer, just haven't been back to tackle the taxes yet.
But Thanks for all the ideas!
i recently had an issue with adobe reader with firefox where it would appear to download the file, then crash my window. i was able to update by installing the latest version again.
another option is, if you have office 2007, set the document to print as a page on one note.
