    Wow! Eddie and Rob Zombie...what a cute couple! Maybe Eddie should do the next soundtrack to one of Rob's horror flicks.....I wonder what that album would sound like.... :D

    I remember Ed saying something about Rob Zombie being an inspiration for the self titled artwork. I remember interviews around the time that statue was unveiled and that group of friends called themselves "The West Coast Gang"

    From what I remember it was Rob Zombie, Lisa Marie Presley, Nicolas Cage, Anthony Kiedis, John Frusciante, Eddie Vedder, Johnny Ramone and I'm sure there were others. After Johnny passed away, I remember Kelly Slater telling Ed a story of how he and Johnny Ramone would be at the same party and go off in a corner and talk about Ed all night. Slater told Ed that Johnny's face would light up when he talked about Ed. Ed said something to the effect of, that makes me feel so great inside to hear that. So I assume maybe Kelly was also in it. Also maybe Henry Rollins. It's been years since I read all this so anyone with more info feel free to chime in.

    By the way, this guy was awesome (even though he was a republican :) ). HE'S A LEGEND!

    Vincent Gallo was also a part of this group but besides Johnny Ramone and John frusciante, I wonder if the rest of those people are friends with him.Gallos films and music are brilliant but as a person he's known for being an asshole. Id really like to know vedders opinion of Gallo, I know Gallo trashed pearl jam in a interview. I remember hearing that Vincent Gallo gave a speach at the revealing of the statute that involved him talking about himself most of the time and claiming that Johnny liked him more than his other friends.
