If anyone has any idea what the hell he means by that please let me know lol

  • damn, how that man can wail

i think the heroin remark means that when andy wood died, that led the way for PJ to form? just my guess anyway, i had never heard that quote until now

you hope that's what he meant?
yea...a guy died and his friends suffered, but i ended up ok.
    you hope he meant that?

seems a bit rough to me.

well i mean just that he personally wasn't involved with heroin, that's all. i agree it's a messed up thing to say, regardless what he meant.

Isn´t he talking about the song??
Deep is about drugs, rape and murder, at least that´s what I got from it, so basically he´s putting himself in the shoes of the guy in the song (deep) and just saying because of heroin he became a murder and a he raped someone!!
Well I can be wrong, though...
    This is only my opinion!

    What?

"This song isn't actually glorifying drugs, and neither is Vedder when he says Heroin Got Me Where I Am Today.

    He's stating fact.

If Andrew Wood from Mother Love Bone hadn't Overdosed on Heroin, Temple of the Dog wouldn't have been formed, and Ed Vedder was discovered by Chris Cornell and the members of Pearl Jam during the Temple of the Dog days. Shortly after Temple of the Dog had finished as a project, Pearl Jam was formed, and Vedder was the lead singer."
