ok well maybe they aren't all idiots but god damn a number of them are stone cold morons.... I mean is asking for some competence or basic common sense asking too much??? It would figure the biggest idiot has a PhD and a MBA......

    Definitely not much of that here... actually I shouldn't say that. I work with a great group of people, they are probably the main reason I am still here. However, upper management is a bunch of idiots.

    well-educated does not necessarily directly correlate with common sense, that's for damn sure. :lol:

    The higher up the worse it gets. I am a technical writer/trainer/editor. One of my jobs is to edit corporate communications and emails that come from higher up. Threre is not one manager, director, or executive that can properly communicate in the English language. The number of spelling and grammar errors is ridiculous.

    I wouldn't mind if they couldn't communicate in English, I'd just like them to get the facts or directions right and maybe give them out all at one time instead of in drips and drabs over days at a time.

    last week i went to a "drivers meeting".....

    the higher ups have decided that we have to have a drivers meeting every 4 months to discuss whatever problems we drivers have.... and also discuss saftey....and we are all going to work together so we can solve all our problems ....blah blah blah....

    need i say more....

    i had to sit in a room with 40 fucking truck drivers whose combined IQ is 27......hehehehehehehe

    Oh yeah, I know what you mean. I constantly have to tone down the techno-babble so real people can understand what they are supposed to do.

    Chromiam - I agree with you there too. Our company is the worst at communication. We make major changes here and there and no one tells anyone. But when you do communicate, and you are a highly paid, highly educated exec, please act like you understand how to write a complete sentence and know what commas and periods are.
