Snow Day !

i'm snowed in, no work for me today ! just beer, music and writing for me today !


actually i could have maybe made it to work, but the drive home would have been worse as we are expecting up to 10 inches and ice on top of that by 4 p.m. , so i decided not to chance it in my mustang snow/death mobile . :)

    no, but i work 55 hours a week and when my boss tells me to take the next two days off due to the weather, its a pleasent surprise.

    ooh, snow day! it sounds so exciting and exotic. :lol:

    we have snow, we get snow pretty much every year but I've never experienced a snow day. a few times in school we didn't have to go out during recess cause it was so cold :shock: but never a snow day.

    I wish I was taking a snow day. I woke up to a fresh blanket of white on the ground, but I have to go to work.

    Snow day here too, well for my kids it is.It is going to be a long day I can tell already.
    My husband was hoping he would be off too. He works at a college so he was hoping they would cancel classes, but they didn't so he had to go in.
    I think we are supposed to get more snow today.

    So far we got around 3 inches in Tysons Corner, Va. Expect more as the day progresses and freezing rain.

    Where I live in central VA, we are always the line where no snow falls. Today is no different. :( I like snow.

    I almost bought one of those, but someone told me those were the worst things to drive in the snow. I'm glad I listened :mrgreen:
