    Without the other members, "Hold On" wouldn't be as good as it was in that link you just posted.

    People may identify Pearl Jam by Eddie Vedder, but everyone else is just as important.

    Maybe they'd never find a replacement you'd listen to. And really, a lot of people find Eddie the most annoying part of PJ - preachy, the deep voice, "angsty", and what have you. A replacement singer might bring new people into the fold.

    I agree that there's essentially no Pearl Jam without Eddie or any of the other members. But Eddie and Stone ARE Pearl Jam. They brought out the Pearl Jam in the other guys.
