Louisville is playing very well right now on all levels but shooting. Thing is, even without very good offensive output, they keep winning. That tells me that they will get even better b/c there are good shooters on that team. Everyone here kept giving me crap when UL lost to WKU & UNLV; my reply was "I'm not worried, they will be fine." And they are and will be.

Side note, I thought it was funny that UL held Rutgers' basketball team to less points than UL held Rutgers' football team. That's a whole different subject, though.

    Ouch!

Lou'ville looked pretty good this weekend...if they stay healthy and can keep their heads together, they will be a sleeper in March.

btw - what the hell happened to gtown yesterday??? they looked awful!

Louisville definitely is a Final Four contender. I'm just happy my Cats have gotten back on track after that Sosa buzzer beater.

A "SLEEPER" more like a Target! They're tied for first in the best conference, and ranked 7th....I think they're a little beyond a sleeper at this point. the Ville vs Uconn will be a great matchup, as will Marquette. Can't wait for those two games! The Big East Tourney is gonna be insanity this year! Can't wait for march!

UL (which will hopefully be in the top 5 when the poll comes out later today) will face #1 UConn tonight in the 'ville. UConn has the speed to potentially break teh UL press, so they could have lay-up practice tonight if UL doesn't bring their A game. UConn is also much bigger, which a very quick point guard that can penetrate & dish it off (I observed this when I attended the WVU-UConn game).

I am 50/50 on tonight, I hope UL pulls it off. They sure as hell better play better than the did during the 2nd half against WVU on Saturday.

ESPN College Gameday is coming to Morgantown this Saturday for the WVU-Louisville game. I am going to the 11am Gameday broadcast, so look for me on tv!

I am still looking for tickets to this sold-out game. I hope to run across someone with extras at Gameday.

Back at you! Thabeet is a monster! I have no problem with UConn being UL's only real loss in the Big East (I don't count that 38-point loss to Notre Dame, alients abducted UL that day or something).

UConn is the best team in the country, IMO. I'd love to see UConn play UNC.

yeah well i'll feel alot better if they win the big east...meaning i hope they get the chance to avenge GTown...big game vs. pitt on saturday.

on thabeet...one thing i've noticed about this team...they are always around campus, in the student center, mixed in with the student body...i mean they're visible because of their height, yes, but they are just trying to have a normal college life too...i applaud that, because it hasn't always been the case. thabeet used to hang in front of gampel w/ his headphones on waiting for the campus shuttle and would say hello or nod/gesture to anyone. saw price at the bank a couple weeks ago and he was as nice as they come. humbled by his comeback here.

Thabeet was toying around with some small kids when UConn came to Louisville. Cool dude.

It's not the mountain men I'm worried about. It's all the Joisey frat guys (over half of WVU's enrollment is from New Jersey. Strange but true fact).

Disclaimer: That is not a knock on New Jersey nor fraternities. I know people from both and they are fine. It just so happens that the Joisey fratboys at WVU are in mass a loud, obnoxious, foul, & crude group. It goes beyond smack talk.
