Mookie? LongRd? CivEngGirl? leafs4ever? followmyway? Releash? Pearljamfan99? Any others I missed.

Where are you all?? Affliction was last night and JSP vs Penn II is next week and there is no thread. I hope you all made it over here.

    Kind of embarassed?? Are you serious? Fedor is one of the greatest fighters ever... Don't get me wrong Arlovski is awesome too but I didn't think he had a chance.

    I was hoping the fight didn't end that quick. A huge mistake on his part.

    I missed the fight as the stupid Loose Moose didn't show the fight and they ALWAYS have PPV's. I will never go back there if I have a choice because we saw a Roach walking across the bar right by our food!!! One of my co-workers killed it and told one of the staff. They comped our food and our first round, but where there is one roach...esp in the light..there are many.

    Anyways back to the fight..I saw the highlights on Sportsnet....I am shocked at how quick that match ended. What was the official time on that?? Gotta be almost as quick as the Tim Sylvia fight if not quicker.

    Btw anyone know what happened in the Noguera (sp) fight??

    hey ACC, ya we've been chatting over at the other board about all the MMA events. Mookie is doing his regular thing and keeping a good thread going on each event :) the link was posted earlier so hopefully we'll see you there

    Actually the Arlovski/Fedor match was pretty good and not nearly as quick as it was portrayed on the highlights. It went about 3 and 1/2 minutes and Arlovski was winning up until the end. Then Arlovski hit Fedor with a good kick that sent him into the ropes and Arlovski went into for the flying knee and well, you know the rest :)

    Check out the Befort/Lindland KO if they didn't show it on sportsnet, it was pretty scary how badly Lindland got KO'd. Don't know if i've ever seen anybody that bad.

    I was pretty drunk last night so my memory isn't that great, but from what i remember the Nog fight was pretty good. From what i remember, the 1st round wasn't really anything special but the 2nd opened up a bit more with Vlad opening a cut near nog's right eye but then Nog started using his Maui Thai and landed some good knees and stikes... finally Nog finished the fight near the end of the 2nd with a great knee to the chin, good stoppage.
