(thanks for refraining from putting "The Sizzler")
It would be nice to see what areas have awesome vegetarian restaurants. Not just a restaurant that has one or two things, but a mostly-veg or all veggie restaurant.
Boca Raton, FL:
Pine Garden - Chinese
Has like 70 vegetarian options. Even veggie spare ribs, and mock duck. Awesome. Worth the trip from anywhere within an hour drive. Also has non-veg, but caters heavily to vegetarian.
Richmond, VA:
Panda Veg - Chinese.
All VEGAN chinese. Mock general tso's chicken, Mock sweet and sour chicken, mock pork, etc. Just great food. Kinda a dark and dreary place inside, but it's worth it for the food. Great dinner buffet on Fri, Sat & Sun.
Richmond, VA:
Harrison Street Coffee Shoppe - American/Misc.
All vegetarian. Great stuff like temphe reuben, beer battered tofu sandwich, etc. Small menu, but everything is great.
Falls Church, VA:
Sunflower - Asian
All vegetarian. Pretty good menu. Light on the mock meat selection, but seems more of a healthy veg place. Good place, but have only been there once.
ok... for those who are vegetarian, please add. Thanks!

vegan hot dog stand - downtown orlando...my ABSOLUTE favorite thing after a night out!!! the vegan hot dog guy is the best you have your choice of many different vegan toppings...queso, hummus, sweet onion relish, chili. i always ask him to suprise me with a fancy combo. and it's a great price at $3.
chicago diner - boystown (i think?)...i'll say that i've only eaten at the food stand that they had at lolla, but my friends ate at the restaurant and said that it was amazing. pretty much all of your standard diner foods, but vegan/vegetarian friendly.
Let's just breathe...
I am myself like you somehow

speedy...."oh oh....do i need to buy a special foot powder????"
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Austin, TX - although it is not classified as a vegetarian restaurant there is a mexican place downtown that had one of the best vegetarian mexican dishes I have ever had! It is not a fancy place - more of a diner type establishment, but it is (was) very popular.
I don't really have any i can recomend but i'd like to try some
