40...don't feel or look it...have no idea how it happened. Saw my first Pearl Jam show in 92...I totally find myself thinking of life differentally lately...I still LOVE to see PEARL JAM! 10 days till Chicago!!!! :D
  • 50-fucking-5.

    Double nickels.

Pearl Jam always reminds me of my days in the early 70's. Travelling, worshipping, just being consumed by music from a special band. Well mebbe 'worship' is a crazy word, but people find a godness in many places.

Thanks to them for bringing the feeling back.
    WOOT!

Cool post. They are kind of the last rock band standing.

  • I'm 30 and was also at the '96 Randalls Island show. Great show. If I remember correctly, and since I'm old my memory is not as good as it used to be, the ticketing was very strict and it rained like crazy. Still one of my favorite shows though!

Tell them you love them. Never let the mundane, the unimportant, or worse, the misunderstood, be the final words of parting.

  • ^^^^^No kidding ;)

When I saw a thread for " Old" Pearl Jam fans- I thought
other people who remember the moon landing, or life without cable television?

Old doesn't include people who can't remember life before MTV or who played Oregon Trail in school.

I am glad to see that there are whippersnappers with good taste in music however.

I chaperoned at a high school graduation party recently and was forced to listen to this for what it seemed like ALL NIGHT
