It seems like Ed makes some references to Stone in some of his songs that could be taken a few different ways, for instance:

In Parting Ways, he sings, " a jealous Stone, a heart of clay". Is he saying Stone is jealous of him?

In Light Years, he sings, " We were but Stones, your light made us stars" Does he mean they were average or just a bunch of average musicians and then they became stars and huge rock gods because of Ed and the help from the lady @ Epic before she passed on?

It seems like Ed and Stone are different and dont see eye to eye on alot of stuff. Just a thought. What do you think?

Yep they HATE each other, just look at this clip from Singles.

Ed is sitting next to Jeff, NOT Stone.

Yes, and the real Mike McCready died right before they started to record Dirty Frank.

"Where's Mike McCready? My god he's been ate!"

Kinda like a grunge version of "Paul is Dead"

The Mike we now know is actually Mike v2.0.

I think Ed has a lot of respect for Stone. In Do the Evolution he sings "Admire my clothes, admire my Stone". It's clear that JEFF is the real problem here

I once heard that if you play the vinyl version of Vitalogy @ 45rpm as opposed to 33 1/3rpm while syncing it up to the infamous "Jump the Shark" episode of Happy Days that....

Vitalogy sounds like complete shit and it doesn't sync up with that episode of Happy Days at all :)

As for your theory on Eddie planting secret lyrics about Stone into songs...

    I'm doubful.

Hendrx was actually a psychadelic guitar god Nostradamus. When he wrote "Stone Free" it was actually a plea for Pearl Jam, 30 years in the future, to get rid of Stone. He knew Stone was going to be the problem.
