No more Bushleaguer!!

I can't tell you how happy I'm about this. With Bush out of office never again will we noble fans have to endure that abomination of a song "Bushleaguer" at a PJ show ever again. Having valuable setlist time spent on this terrible, embarassing (and now painfully dated) song* for the past 6 years was a blight on Pearl Jam concerts the world over. Hallelujah!

*If by song you mean ideologically driven noise.
So this life is sacrifice...

    Bushleaguer rocks your repugnican face. I hope they play it where ever you go and bushleague all over your ass. Do you get upset about songs that make fun of lame people with lame taste in music? Hit too close to home for you? Maybe they should write a song called, "I'm lame and I like Cheney leaguer"

    Thank you rustyrails! Your eloquent and beautiful post has caused me to see the error of my ways! "Bushleaguer" is not at all a terrible and badly written song! It is quite the opposite. I am indebted to you!

    It's still a cool song, and the lyrics can apply to anyone.. And Bushleaguer is a term that doesn't necissarily relate to W.
