Sent Messages Question

I just was playing around in my pm box and saw that every single sent message I had sent from the old board had transferred over to this board. My question is how did that happen? I never saved any of my sent messages on the old board. Where have all these sent messages been lying around since 2003 and why did they suddenly turn up here on the new board?

    the sent messages were always automatically saved.. you had a different box (drop down menu somewhere..can't remember , but it was there for sure and you could easily access them )

    i started a thread in AET about it b/c it was sooo bizarre!
    happened under the name dreamncolor, but not too many.....but when i finally got to be decides2dream again......29 pages of em! :shock: that was annoying....haha......but a crazy trip down memory lane. and no, i have no idea where they came from b/c i didn't save em either! shows ya...nothing ever dies on the internet....VERY scary. :o:o:o

    actually, there was a tick box in which you could choose NOT to save your sent messages, which i was what i did....and if i didn't, i always deleted at a later date. when the board closed, i had - at most - 5 saved sent messages.

    Yep, that's what did. I always checked to never save sent messages. When the board closed I had 0 saved sent messages in my pm box which is why this is so odd for me.
