Anyone dig them?

I saw them last week in L.A. There has been a huge buzz, and I am still undecided about them.

They remind me of the Jesus & Mary Chain (layers of guitar), and Big Country / U2 (anthem-like songs).

The singer is a Joe Strummer Look-a-like.

That's about all I have for Glasvegas.

the few songs/vids I've seen makes me think they are really trying to bring shoegaze back ... (and the drummer seems even less talented than Meg White. ;) )

Anyway, I'd check them out as an opener, or at a festival (think they are at least rumored for Coachella) ...

I actually kinda like them. Their debut album was doomed to underwhelm due to the insane amounts of hype they received in the UK. I'm not sure if it is the accent but there is something that I can't help but like about them.
