I know its been out for a while, but I just got it two days ago and it's all I've been playing...NONSTOP

    I got it for XMas and am getting close to finishing it...pretty good game. San Andreas was better, but this is still fun - it was meant more to move the game to HD format, the next one will be better.

    I got mine on the release date, some time ago. Played it a ton when I first got it but haven't touched it in months. I still have a lot to do within the game, but I have other games that are consuming my time at the moment.

    I also think San Andreas was better too.

    I just got it for Xmas too. I cant put it down. it doesnt help that I was sick over the weekend and played for hours.
    I'm near the end, but just found out all the stuff your friends do for you once they go over 70%.
    This game made me go back and watch the movie 'Heat'... During some of those shootout missions I had the volume up pretty high with surround sound and I thought the cops would show up at my place. it was intense.

    I also got it when it came out. I haven't finished the story line yet even though I'm on the last mission. I played it non stop for a while but I haven't touched it in some time. The only thing I hate about it is the lack of checkpoints if you die in the mission. Having to drive through the city just to get back to the start of the mission is a huge time waster and a big pain in the balls.
    I'll ride the wave where it takes me.

    I plan on getting a PS3 in the next few weeks, I think this or Fallout will be the first game I get.

    No argument here. I have both and GTA got real boring real fast
    Fallout was awesome (I haven't finished either but I'm waiting for the level cap in Fallout to go up with upcoming DLC).
    I'll be lucky if I ever bother finishing GTA.

    Other recommendations: Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, Call of Duty 4 and COD World at War. Killzone 2 is coming out soon and that game is going to be crazy good. Haven't played it yet, but Resistance 2 is supposed to be great too.

    If you're into baseball, pick up MLB '09 The Show (should be coming out soon) and if you like hockey, NHL '09 is really good. I also hear FIFA '09 is good as well.

    How do you know Killzone 2 is going to be crazy good? Haze was supposed to OMGWTF crazy good too, remember, and look what happened there ;)

    Resistance is pretty good indeed, and I'd add to the list Far Cry 2 and Uncharted, but not in that order.

    Well, Killzone has a pretty good history of being good and if you look at some of the early videos of it, it looks badass.
    I always forget about Uncharted. Still haven't played that yet! I did play the demo and that was pretty sweet.

    Oh, and Resident Evil 5 is looking damn good too.

    It does? Didn't the first Killzone pull a Haze??? Don't get me wrong, I hope it's good, I DO have a PS3 after all, I will just wait for the demo ;)

    Yeah, I hope RE5 is as good as it looks, because it looks awesome so far.

    I play it too. I use cheat codes though to get the rocket launcher so I will probably get that message at the end telling me I'm a pussy for using cheat codes


    I always play NCAA 09 too. I think the game kinda sucks, but I think I'm a coach and love playing people online trying to outsmart them. I want to get another game, but I don't know what to get. I have had PS3 for awhile now and only play 2 games

    There are a lot of good games out there. Depending on what type of game you like there are quite a few options.

    FPS: Resistance 1 and 2, Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty: World at War, Killzone 2 is coming out soon, Far Cry 2 is supposed to be pretty good.
    Sports: Baseball: MLB The Show (best baseball game on the market, new one coming out in March) Hockey: NHL '09 (great game)
    Action: Metal Gear Solid 4 (awesome game), Socom Confrontation (Pretty good game), God of War 3 is coming out and should be pretty amazing.
    Other: Little Big Planet (one of the most "fun" games you can play. It's incredibly addictive).

    The list of great games is pretty big. No reason to be stuck playing just 2 games.
