as for the tangible 'stuff'....i too would have to go with my house. i love our little home, all we've done to make it ours and all we continue to do...probably will grow old here. recently, our new surround system and 52" HD TV....love, love, love it! huge movie buffs and our netflix subscription is well utilized each month, so well worth the investment. next, i guess igby! i never bought an animal before, always adopted...and our other dog and cat were adopted and love them to bits, but i really wanted a pug, so yea....bought one. love the little ig. money can't buy happiness, but it certainly makes life easier, and sure...helps afford many priceless experiences, and sure...some stuff is just awsome to enjoy.

Wait...forget the education...it has to be the surround sound system for the house....I couldn't live without it
They say every sin is deadly but I believe they may be wrong...I'm guilty of all seven and I don't feel too bad at all
My apartment in Manhattan that I sold which appreciated 100% in 3 years (Thanks unregulated banking system)
A house with a basment so my kids can go nuts
Some of my favorites have to be my 50" HDTV with my PS3/Blu-ray player and digital surround sound system.
My mountain bike.
My cat. She didn't cost much, but she was a good buy.
However, my band kinda came together at the house and we've evolved together and written a lot of music in the back room, which is perfect for rehearsal and recording. Some of the greatest memories i'll have. So it's a love/hate thing.
2. My college education (ongoing)
3. I'm not sure. I don't own a lot. I rent, my car was a junker...I spend my money on traveling. Good times and happiness.
EV: Los Angeles 4.12.2008, Los Angeles 4.13.2008, Nashville 6.17.2009, Nashville 6.18.2009, Memphis 6.20.2009
for the other 2, intangibles but well spent....traveling and my education. PJ concert tix too...i'm not a materialistic person, i'm more about accumulating experiences and memories than things
Every time, it is 95 degrees out and time to cut the grass, I say "This tractor and case of beer is the best thing I ever purchased"
Every time I want to wail out on my drums when the wife/kids are sleeping, I hop on my electric drumset and declair, "this is the best thing I ever purchased"
oooooooooooooo...this definitely reminds me....
central air-conditioning
inground sprinklers
2 of the BESt purchases ever!
hubby would add in the snow-blower too...but as snow removal is his deal, doesn't excite me as much.
i remember we both were so damn happy with our new fridge with it's filtered water dispenser and ice machine. ahhh...the little things that make you so happy as a home-owner.

I can't look at this post and not notice the name... plus I just watched the movie so that's not helping. If you start blathering about Huey Lewis and the News, I'm out!
We have a fridge with through the door filtered water and ice maker and the damn ice maker stopped working!...how I miss it so. I just need some time to empty and defrost the line (most likely it froze)
Yes it is ! (a raincoat I am wearing)
Guitar - something fun to pick at.
Sony LCD 1080p hdtv - it's better than the movie theater!

My Guitar. I suck at it, but it's real fun.
My TV. Who doesn't like to veg out to TV once in awhile?
I worked my ASS off for that thing (I'm only 17) and when I got it home... wow.
1) Plane ticket back in 1997 to visit my then girlfriend who was working in San Francisco ... 7 years later, I moved here, met the love of my life out here, and I love it out here.
2) This poster ...
Bought it off ebay for $5 about 6 years ago (Buffalo Tom being my favorite band) ... and it has fueled my passion for rock art, something I really enjoy.
3) My coffee maker ... I know, it sounds silly, but ... before I had a coffee maker which grinds and brews, I was drinking crap coffee ... it really has made my Sunday mornings so enjoyable. Seriously.
