Autographs on ebay

Anyone find it amusing and at the same time sad the amount of fake autographs people try to peddle on ebay?Just do a search for Eddie's signature and look at the the number of fakes, namely on the guitars. Seems to be a large number of strange "Es" that are supposed to be the E in Eddie's name. Ten Club should have them taken down, its a shame people get scammed out of thousands for these. There are a few real ones up though.

    While I'm sure lots are fake, Ed's sig has changed over the years. Also, 10c has said you can ask them if something is authentic or not and they will try to verify. :)

    I feel more annoyed by the idiots who pay thousands for these fakes

    I don't get the whole "buying someone's autograph on eBay" thing anyway. Unless you got your piece of article (whatever it may be: a record, CD, book..etc) in person directly signed for you, I don't understand why you would want to have that famous person's signature as it has nothing to do with you. Unless of course you're planning to resell it. :roll:

    bottom line. don't buy autographs off of ebay. 90% of the time they are fake.
