    Seizure apparently went on for some time.

    What an unfortunate time for this to happen. Especially with all the measures Kennedy had taken to support Obama, such as leaving the hospital to attend the Dem. Convention.

    yup all the people are saying that they think maybe it's because so many people were there wishing well that it became overwhelming. Apparently they turned the lights down to take away some of the heat and then Obama came over to make sure he was ok. Sen. Hatch said he took Kennedy to the ambulance and he was concious so hopefully it's all going to be ok.

    i thought he looked fairly good before the actual inauguration. seemed alert, mobile, etc. it would be a shame if he took a drastic turn for the worse on a day like today.

    ya i know... they were saying all the problems he was having when he came onto the stage, but really he looked great. He was walking well and looked really alert, it was probably all the people in the room, creating all the heat and everything that brought on the seizure... I'm not a doctor so i can't say for sure, but that's what they've been saying on cnn

    Just watching the news and the latest is that he is still in the hospital, but he is awake and alert while tests are being administered. Hope he will be OK enough to leave soon. He truly is a great American despite some peoples opinions.

    Apparently he was making jokes before the EMTs took him to the hospital. Always a good sign and I hope he pulls through too.
