I saw them last night at Union Chapel in London. All I can say is WOW!!!

A very stripped back set- 2 Acoustic guitars and a Keyboard!

Mark Lanegan has an amazing voice.

Anyone else manage to witness the greatness!!

Yep there were a few pit members there. Sat with our mugs of tea to keep warm :D Such a great venue as well.

Was an awesome set ... and a fun encore ;)

So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?

You said it, brother. I really wish I could see one of these shows. They are apparently some of the best live Lanegan that people have heard in years.

Yes indeed! It was one of the most incredible gigs I've seen in years! The Gutter Twins songs sound so powerful when they are played acoustically. There was even a Dulli/Lanegan joke - ML even laughed so you know it was a special night! :)

If God exists and he was in the Chapel last night, they'll release a cd of this tour (or at least a bootleg!)

    Awesome

erm how the FUCK did i miss this?

I saw him with soulsavers in a venue with about 50 people, just mind blowing voice, closed his eyes looked down and grabbed that mic stand.

Had a blast last night! They were great as was Shawn Smith who was second. Not sure who the opener was but he was different. As an encore they played Tennessee Waltz, All I have to do is dream (Everly Brothers) and I Get a Kick Out of You, very cool and unexpected, at least by me. :) Also discovered a very cool place called the Alibi Room, basically just across the street, down from the news stand at Pike Place. Great food, drinks and atmosphere. Can't wait to go next time we're in Seattle!

  • Was at the Seattle show as well and it was incredible! Had a great time at the show and I didn't know Shawn Smith was going to be one of the openers, so that was a wonderful surprise for me! :)
