Pearl Jam & John Mellencamp???

I just heard a weird story....are any of the members, current or old related to John Melloncamp?? I know no personal info but I just heard this and had never heard it before?? just curious :roll:

    Not that I'm aware of. I've heard Ed tell stories about Mellencamp and he's never mentioned anything like that.

    I heard that Boom is Johnny Cougar's father but when he changed his name to Mellencamp, Boom was so offended that he disowned him. :lol:

    I don't believe so. But I think Ed lost Melloncamp's suit one time when he was working at the San Diego Sports Arena. Something crazy like that.

    Oh ok my boss's pilot was telling me stories about who he has flown and I told him he would HAVE to tell me if he flew Pearl Jam and he thought he had when they first came out. He then said he thought 1 of the members was related to JCM, but he couldn't remember for sure. Thanks for the info!

    I have never heard anything of the sort. But god I hope not, I can't stand Cougar.Highly overrated in my opinion. I think if I have to hear or see that car commerical with the song "This is our Country" I will pull out my hair. :oops:
