I went to Bonnaroo last year and saw Pearl Jam, but really dig them before then. I was just wondering what are ticket prices when you buy them from the ten club? I was just gettin an idea if they tour this upcoming year

Were there TenC tickets for Roo? I thought those were just regular festival tickets.

  • So it depends on the show's location? And if you are in the ten club, what's the furthest back you will sit? Trust me I won't be making any northeast or northwest shows, I'm talking like a show in the south or midwest

  • Nah man, I just went to the Roo, but I figured i would just see them there for the first time, because i knew they would put on a hell of a show at a big festival and i stood about 15 rows back. It was like a religious experience.

I mean you can blame that on MSG though, they charge so much for everything there, Rangers tickets are ridiculous

It was 170 bucks US for both Montreal & Toronto 10club pair tickets to Ed '08 show's last August!
I bought all 4 at 680 bucks .. all in one day! Mama mia!
  • Jesus, 680 dollars. I love pearl jam, but geez, 680 dollars to me is like worth so much more. Could be the fact that I'm a college student. You hand us 100 dollars and we think we have a pot of gold.

thats 680 dollars if your buying 4 tickets. When they came to dc, i paid 70 bucks for my ticket (friend bought the other). Its a lot more then I would spend on most concerts, but compared to any other established acts their age (metallica, u2, foo fighters etc.) theyre farily cheap

most expensive: $205.00 for the Copenhagen pair in 07
cheapest: $90.00 for the pair in Katowice also 07

tickets in the US seem to be about the same price as non-10c tickets...but if you join just now, best you can hope for (lottery expected) is back of the first amphitheatre section (in the South), worse is back of the second section I think..

tickets in Europe are almost always more to much more expensive (10-30%, including fees) than non-10c tickets... but you can theoretically get to the front no matter when you joined if you put the time in ..and can sustain a proper GA pit (which can range from mild like US ones in Holland, to hellish in Poland, Spain or Italy..and I assume South America)

We attended 3 shows in Italy and 1 in Vienna, Austria. They were all GA and it was fairly easy to get to the rail and stay there. Pistoia was probably the most intense up front. Even so, it was not too much. The European fans were great.
    Hold On

So are the ten club tickets entirely based on seniority like the lowest #'s will get the best tix? I heard something about a lottery system this past tour and some higher numbers got to sit up close. Is that how they always do it, I've never bought TC tix before.

Seniority gets the closest tickets. The new lottery makes rows 1, 2, 10, & 11 possible for anyone.

Ok, in your (or any long time Tc member's) opinion since I have such a high TC number (like 42**** ughh) would I be better off taking my chances with ticketmaster or should I do the TC tix anyway.

even with a high number, I think you still stand a chance with better seats with the TC. Also, this past tour, the TC started doing the random lottery seats for the 1st 2 rows and rows 9-10, so you never know. It seem like a success this past tour, so I'm sure they will continue doing it

PJ have pretty much priced themselves out of my affordability range after the last tour...when i first saw them in 2003, a ticket cost about $30 (with fees), now it's upwards of $70-80 before fees...

as someone who doesn't make a lot of money, it's becoming increasingly difficult to embrace and enjoy this band as I once did...

going by what the prices were in Australia in 06, they will be even worse next time!
On todays exchange rate it would be about $150-$160 US for the pair, but say our $$ was up like it was last year, that would push it to $220+

    03 were $80 AUD, 06 were $115 next tour??????????????????

you can see why i was not complaining at paying $80US last year for MSG when the currency was nearly equal!

    2006 - Reading Festival,
2007 - Katowice, London, Nijmegen, Rock Werchter,
    2008 - MSG x2, Hartford, Mansfield x2, Beacon Theater,
    2009 - Melbourne, Sydney,
2010 - I watched it go to fire!
    2011 - EV Brisbane x3, Newcastle, Sydney x3,
    2012 - Manchester x 2, Amsterdam x2, Prague, Berlin x2, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen,
    2014 - Sydney, EV Sydney x3

Unfortunately, you haven't seen nothin yet. Acts like Springsteen, The Who, The Stones etc... all get around $100-$140 per ticket, and that's the lowest. When PJ becomes HOF'ers and have been around 30-40 years as a band, plus the price of inflation, low end tickets might be $200 a seat. Sad but true.
