I think the cards have a real chance to win. Fitzgerald is arguably the best receiver in the game and I am sure he will make a big play in the superbowl. But the Steelers defense is healthy, and they are a differnt team now than last year when they were banged up. I think it will be a good game, not sure if the Cards D can stop Big Ben and Fast Willie though. And Hines will be back.

Steelers Win 38-17- Polamalu, again showing the whole world not to anoint Ed Reed the best safety, has another big game. Why anyone would throw over the middle against them is crazy. Kurt Warner might not live through the game.

I wouldn't want to go through the middle knowing I might either get my head taken off or get close to paralysis by an opposing defenders helmet bashing into mine while not looking.

IT WAS NOT , I REPEAT , NOT INTENTIONAL. The game was hard hitting all night long. Christ even the punter had a good hard tackle. One of those unfortunate circumstances from playing smashmouth football.

I know, I was just joking. I realize it was part of the game, but when I saw that it was instant cringe. :o Yikes!

The Steelers D is going to be the difference in that game. The Cards have a great o-line and give Warner a ton of time to plant his feet and make a smart play. If they can get pressure on him and play the D they have been playing of late, I just don't see how they can get much going offensively.

As much as I want to give the Cards a shot, I can't. They were 9-7 in a division that barely had more than 10 wins amongst the 3 other teams. So they're hot right now but remember they are playing in the NFC which with the exception of last year have been on the losing end of Super Bowls as late. The Cards haven't faced a defense even remotely as good as the Steeler defense this year, no to mention number one versus the pass. As long as Pittsburgh can score at least twice on offense it's thiers for the taking. Hope it's a clear day because Warner will be spending a lot of time starring at the blue sky.

  • I saw that avatar photo on someone's phone at work the other day...I believe the title of the message was "Why NFL players have short last names" or something to that effect. The other photos had players like Ward's name on a thong on a skinny hot chick. This is the last place I thought I would see that photo again.

Obviously the NFC is like the minor league, after all they are being represented by the Cardinals.

Oh, and were are the Cowgirls in this whole playoff picture. Oh yeah that's right, they're watching from Cabo.
