I work as a server at a brewery and tonight I worked an eight-hour shift and only made $32.64.
Lame :cry:

    That's barely over $4/h! How is that even legal!? Wage laws where you live must suck if your employer can get away with that. Is it one of those deals where they pay you well below the min. wage and expect the employee to make up the rest in tips (like commission, I guess)? I've heard of that in the service industry.

    i'm a server too, just got off work. we were slammed, but my genius boss is cutting hours like crazy and only scheduled 3 servers. our restaurant is pretty big, and we only just made it through. i love the people i work with, but my boss is so insane i'm seriously thinking about quitting. time to drink...
