    it really, really sucked. i especially thought Matt Dillon was god awful.

    everyone in this movie was weak weak weak.

    nice suprise to see seth rogan in the film though. didn't know he was in it.

    The guy who plays Dupree - could he annoy me more - NO! it's not possible.
    The whole thing was terribad!
    I wish a guy like Eddie, would like me.

    Agree that it's a terrible movie. But the part where Dupree talks to the kids in school was pretty funny.

    Are you guys nuts? I love this movie! I just ordered it on dvd in fact!

    I opened this thread expecting to read praise for what a good comedy it is.

    I mean granted, it's not Oscar-worthy stuff but it's not supposed to be. I laughed out loud tons of times...when Owen Wilson hits the car on his bike...priceless! The "seven different kinds of smoke" thing is hilarious, the speech he gave the kids, the general mishap he caused, all the Huffy bike jokes and the Lance Armstrong thing...I'm sure I'm leaving some parts out but all in all...really funny stuff.

    It's a comedy. But to each his own I guess.

    kate hudson is the best part of this movie, especially when she's reaching up in the cupboard. i could watch it muted.

    haha why does everyone hate this movie so much...what's so bad about it?

    no one has really said anything to build any sort of credible reasoning of why it sucks.
